rehearsals were wonderful today!!!
everyone learnt their parts (*cough cough* excluding CERTAIN ppl, myself included XP go figure =P) and i think we all sound wonderful

some of the choreography is absolutely hilarious, but after the initial groaning and shuffling around, we all got into doing the actions! HAHAHAHA XP
ppl were whipping out their mobiles to video the hilarious scene xD
and ian (the choir conductor) had some very amusing names for some of the actions that never failed to make us laugh
like, "sparkle hands coming up!" or "get ready for SUNBURST"
HAHAHAHAHAHA
ok maybe it's not that funny T_T
but he DEFINITELY does wonderful (and very hilarious) impersonations of the soloists xDD

there're alot of nice songs this year!!! =]
there's all for one, from high school musical xDDDD (grace was squealing when she found out it was in the show)
and the "Mickey" interlude is so hilarious. imagine 200++ girls all "chanting": oh mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind; hey mickey, hey mickey! in a very high pitched and faked accent. HAHAHAHAHAHA

oooh, and we're doing something from wizard of oz, the "one short day" song, and ian said, "you all have to sing it with an american accent! and while you're at it, make it cheesy!"
haha, so we're all like, "one shorhh-t day, in the emerald ci-teeeeee" and then he has this horrified expression and goes "not THAT cheesy!!!!!"

apart from that, my personal favourite is "Unwritten" =]
it's just too nice xDDD

whee~!! so getting up at 6am in the morning was worth it, for the 2 hr++ bus ride to UWS xD
and UWS is actually very nice! it has really good facilities and everything, but it's rather deserted at the moment cause it's so far ><" that's why UWS was a sponsor for school spec i think, and then in return we had to hold our final rehearsal on their campus as a "promotion" of sorts. interesting xDDD

on the bus ride home everyone was soooooo high and we were basically shouting out our parts to all the lyrics. i pity the bus driver T_T
first we sang through our favourites for school spec, then went through choir songs, then sang random songs from arts north/last year's spec/celebration concert, and then moved on to er.. random pop songs (at which point i had to switch over to role of listener. bleah)

hmm, looking forward to tomorrow, although i'll have to get up at.. 5:45am? xDDD
it'll be fun!!
