and another peek into life at ruse. *sighs*
- Friday, January 30, 2009 -
hmmmmmmmm GUESS WHAT!
I DIDN'T GO ON THE COMP AT ALL YTD! which is really sad. T_T
ok actually it's good, but then i open my gmail, and i'm like. erhmm.. 19 mails, just because i didn't check it for ONE day?! *coughcoughcough* (and no, not many were from facebook. like.. 3? XD)
spent THREE WHOLE HOURS DOING MATHS.
omigosh the qns are all so.. ... ... doing quadratic "revision", but how LONG and MESSY can the qns get? blah.
er yeah, today in music, i was srsly freaked.
we were listening to this piece of music right (er, wagner's "lohengrin" overture) and then mr wong (music teacher) was like
what's the tonality?
then someone said, "G MAJOR!"
hmm yeah. (which was right btw. XDDD NOOOOOOOOO I DON'T HAVE PERFECT PITCH. only have relative pitch which is saddening T_T)
and i think we were talking about the tempo, and someone was like, i'm ABSOLUTELY SURE it's 126 bpm, and i was just like.. er.. o.O"
and then mr wong was like, wait, i KNOW i have a metronome somewhere in the storeroom -walks off and we all talk a bit and then he comes back with metronome- and then we are all clapping the beat and then he sets the metronome to 126 and it is SPOT ON. *dies*
even mr wong was like "how did you DO THAT?!"
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
but mr wong is cool!
all my teachers are cool actually, EXCEPT THE MATHS TEACHER WHO GOES TOO FAST. she's like, write write write, rub off, write write write, rub off, and i'm frantically trying to take everything down before it's rubbed off that mental digestion is completely cut off (i believe brain decided that my hands need more blood? yeahh XDD)
errrrr yvonne I AM NOT PRO. i am like the noobest in the WHOLE YEAR i think. blah i'll come like last in everything. XDDDDDDDDDD
but it IS a nice place, and hopefully i'll get used to the workload, and NAT I STILL OWE YOU AN EMAIL BUT I'LL FIND TIME TO TYPE IT OUT THIS WEEKEND! (hopefully T_T)
ppl at ruse are cool too. it's easy to forget that i'm in australia (ALMOST XDDD) cause there's only probably what.. 5 australians (ie blonde hair) in my year. HAHAHAHAHA. but most of the teachers are australian. it's kind of a weird... mix. XDDDDDDD but but i got used to it. at least there's no form of "discrimination"? HAHAHAHA XDD and the teachers love the students, yay =]
ok shall stop rambling, AND GO DO HW!
