although it was pretty cliche, lame and a not very interesting/weak plot (not to mention wrong in so many ways T_T), the movie set me thinking

if i had a chance to relive the past year, make a different decision, would i?

and at least the movie got one thing right - it's not the things you choose that change, it is the way you react and the way you cope. wrong decisions allow us to learn, but ultimately our path in life and what we go through becomes a part of who we are, and it would just be foolish to think that life would be better had something else happened (i mean, if something else happened, then you would no longer be the person you are, then you would have totally different values and thoughts and desires and everything... right?) - nothing needs to change... just the attitude.

after all, God who knows all is constantly guiding us along, and the life He has created for each and every one of us has purpose and meaning and as long as we seek Him in all that we do, we can have the courage and strength to live on with the faith that this is what He has meant for us to go through =]
