ARGH!!!

freaks out. screams. throws tantrum. ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.
got home, turned on the comp, went to email, and this is what i got:
"Dear Elaine and Alex,
Just a quick note to let you know that I've left Con Brio. It's a sudden decision, so I feel I owe my students an explanation, especially if I won't get a chance to tell you in person.
I entered some of my students for a junior piano competition, but later was told by Peter and Frances that I'm not supposed to enter 'their' students without their permission (I have never studied/ taught at any schools that I needed permission from the school to enter any external competitions, it's always between the teachers and students), and also they thought that the standard of the competition (for 5-11 year olds!?) is too high, and they only allow me to enter students if they have a good chance of winning, in order to maintain the 'reputation' of the school, which I care less for. As a teacher, I only enter my students for the experience, and a chance to play in public, a step that all musicians must take at some point to learn to become a better one. What kind of teacher am I if I can't provide these opportunities for my students, and if they think they know best for 'their' students whom I have taught all along, that's their choice.
I think highly of the school and the effort they have put into it, but our visions are different. They prefer prize winning students whom they can show off, which I care less for, and I'm only committed to music education and if my students get rewards, great. If not, no big deal as long as they become better on their instruments.
So, all the best of luck, I really enjoyed teaching you two.
Please feel free to contact me if you need any help in the future ie. music or mp3s ( I have a huge library) etc.
Cheers, Jimmy"
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. freaks out. (although i'm already freaking out.) OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH. AHHHHHHHHHHH. i just msged him and apparently he can't teach me or alex anymore cause he quit?! and something on the contract being he can only teach us under conbrio?! because we are conbrio students?! WTH!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
and i thought peter was nice! ok he always was really nice to me, but ARGH WHAT ON EARTH. ARGH. (sorry really incoherent).
*rantrantrantrantrant*
*sob*
this is NOT happening. esp when the main reason i had confidence to pick up HSC music was because of jimmy. wth. T_T
and yeah, he has this HUGE library of every imaginable kind of music, plus heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps and heaps of scores. complete editions of EVERYTHING. chopin etudes, beethoven sonatas, haydn sonatas, or be it suites and partitas or the well tempered clavier or ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
this is terrible terrible terrible. it's all so screwed up T_T. cause, he can technically still teach us, if we kind of.. quit conbrio. cept, i'm learning theory at conbrio, and the exam is in august, and it would just be very foolhardy to switch theory teachers now. and peter IS a good theory teacher, despite his very.. screwed up visions. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH T_T.
sigh
and this was meant to be a HAPPY blog post. well, originally, until i opened up my email inbox
because i got a book of daily devotions! which was the 2nd thing i've wanted really badly ever since i got my lovely bible, and and and i was PLANNING to ask for it as my bday present, butbut YAY THE CHURCH BOUGHT THEM FOR ALL THE SENIOR GIRLS IN YOUTH GROUP. which is so awesome, and it's just requested of us to make a minute "donation" of $5 which is really little compared to what the book actually costs.
yes God is awesome.
but bad things and good things always come hand in hand. ALWAYS. as if someone, something, out there is trying to undermine God's wonderfulness and amazingness and awesomeness (sorry, my grammar fails XP)
oh well.
shall just pray, and hope a feasible solution will occur..
