crocheting madness
- Saturday, July 25, 2009 -
now that MOST (note, most. =D) of my work is done, it's back to crocheting!! =D
kind of bittersweet, cause near the end of term i went and got a a ball of orange and a ball of blue wool, to use during the hols (hahaha) AFTER i'd finished with the wool i'd already taken
but see, at that time i thought variegated blue would be nice with purple, but as you can see below, it's quite ghastly T_T like, really disgusting T_T PLUS the wool was too soft and cottony and just. NOT RIGHT. which was depressing
and so i got bored and started experimenting with scrap bits of wool and doing random stuff like hearts and flowers (both of which are incomplete - the flower's missing more petals and the heart's missing an edge)

and after that i was just like. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooo i hate the purple/variegated blue wool T_T butbutbut i have to crochet squares for school! >< and so i decided that mm i shall just return the wool to the school and start using the orange and blue wool. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^
and so i started thursday arvo
and this is where i got to yesterday evening-ish =D (the sun was setting XD)

see how much NICER the squares are? (to do with both wool quality and just how BRIGHT AND COLOURFUL it is =DDD)
and this was just this morning! yay =D lollipop colours ftw XDD right now i'm in a slight panic because I AM RUNNING OUT OF ORANGE WOOL T_T i think i have enough left for only 1 or 2 more square, which is very very very depressing T_T AHHHHHHHHH WHY DIDN'T I TAKE MORE ORANGE WOOL. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY T_T oh well T_T

but anyway, which one's nicer? blue border and centre, or orange border and centre? XDDDD i'm thinking if i can be bothered to alternate b/w blue and orange more often (i'm lazy, HAHAHA) for say, the fifth square if i have any orange wool left then, but we'll see =D
and i realy am curious with what they're going to end up doing with these squares for the blanket when i bring them to school because i'm not sure they'll fit anywhere. XP maybe they'll let me keep them =DDD HAHAHA. but then, i've seen weirder squares that they've put in the blanket. sadness...
ok i really should go finish up my bio report. bio is annoying me. ALOT. T_T
