just absolutely amazing
at first i was angry with wong for putting me at the beginning but in retrospect i'm really really glad because not only did i get to sit back and relax but omigosh if i was after the others i'd just seem so dumb/inadequate/stupid/unskilled... the list goes on

i'm seriously reconsidering doing music for HSC next year.
but at the same time
i'm PROUD to be a ruse music student
and it's just so awesome to get to see all these talented and amazing musicians and to be able to call them FRIENDS =]

(sorry, kind of on a sugar high because i drank cordial that had the consistency and sweetness of pure melted jelly. which is delicious, but hmm. not wise to drink at this time of the night)

it's a long story

but anyway, it's been tradition that senior music nights are ended with a song. sung by the year 11s.
and it was so awful today because both louie and cynthia (my fellow altos) were sick.
ORIGINALLY, there are 5 girls in the class (me, ned, angel, louie and cyn)
ned and angel are the sops, louie me and cyn are altos!
but because ned went to see aida tonight (LUCKY!!), wong was like. elaine you're singing sop for music night!
and THEN. louie and cynthia fall sick and DO NOT come.
so i had to relearn the alto part during the INTERVAL and THERE IS A FREAKING SOLO.
... ... ... and louie was meant to do the solo.
hmm it was quite terrible. T_T not quite, VERY VERY TERRIBLE. ><

but yeah, last week we had senior jazz ensemble auditions! (which i kind of screwed. but at least i found out that i was OFFICIALLY a mezzo sop - and after being alto for my whole life, that was.. kind of a surprise. T_T)

but thank God! (He must know how much i want this!) hahahaha because after the concert when i was waiting for my lift home wong came up to me and was like "that was good elaine! *sly smile* and it reaffirmed my decision for jazz ensemble selections... i'm sure you'll fit in somewhere!"

butbut results are officially out thursday and i hope lil and ronnie and jan and amelia all get in as well

RONNIE BETTER GET IN! if not.. *grr*
made a bet with her which went along the lines of
if i didn't get in, and she did, she would have to refrain from saying sorry to me for a week. (ronnie is weird. she says sorry all the time, and we're just like.. RONNIE STOP SAYING SORRY. you're making us feel guilty! and then she looks really guilty and goes "sorry!" and we feel even more guilty)
and if i got in and she didn't, i would have to refrain from saying sorry as well (which isn't hard, but ahhh if i accidentally say sorry will get further punishment. nooo)

shall stop rambling.
