LOL. HAHAHA - highly, highly amused
- Wednesday, August 19, 2009 -
was waiting for the comp to start up so was loitering around in the lounge room where mum was watching tv
happened to be "the world's strictest parents", a new australian reality tv show
and i THINK it's about how they take these rebellious australian teenagers and send them away to a totally different environment with really really strict parents in the hopes that they'll somehow learn and grow and change.
and.
LOL.
this week they sent the teenagers to
singapore.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
i just find it terribly, TERRIBLY amusing.
yes, and i'm quite terrible.
i haven't laughed so much in a long long time.
but anyway, for those not bothered to go to the website, here's a blurb from it:
Zaine and Memphis are about to be thrown into one of the strictest societies in the world: Singapore. In Singapore there are hefty fines for spitting, vandals are caned, and taking drugs can mean jail or even the death penalty.
Drinking and smoking are also frowned upon. “That’s a big no, no,” Meng (the dad of the family) says. “And the consequences are every severe.”
As are sleepovers. “I will never let my kids stay with anybody else,” Meng says. “I see no reason why.”
no sleepovers is terrible. SLEEPOVERS ARE AWESOME OK. talk about paranoid much.
"big no, no"
somehow that just makes me crack up. alot. HAHAHAHAHAHA. not that i disagree, but still. T_T
well, at least australia got it right, for once =D
