my new room =D
- Saturday, October 31, 2009 -
visited (weird, hahaha, visiting) our new house today, which is still undergoing renovations
BUT THEY FINISHED PAINTING =D
and i lovelovelovelovelove the colour of my room ^^ subtly bright (is that even possible? i guess, like, inner shine? hahahahahahaha. *cough*), a really nice light green that looks sunshiney yellow in the fading evening light =D
(it's a compromise - i wanted a yellow room, parents said green would be more mature, i said green would be yucky and just too... green and unpleasant - they wanted the type of
celery green that would cause a lot of terrible memories, seriously - but that was before i saw this really really REALLY nice shade of green on the colour cards. which practically wasn't even green anymore =D)
quite depressing that parents have decided to go ahead with building the deck. it's killing a lot of trees! T_T. urgh. and i can't believe they're TILING the basement T_T. i think brick floors look wonderfully nice and rustic, but oh well. asians will be asians XDD
i should stop complaining
but i won't be lying when i say that despite the suffering my piano will have to go through, yayyy i AM looking forward to moving into our new house =D
(bro is mourning the loss of garden space though. he ignores me when i tell him that a 1000m^2 garden is ABNORMAL, and a 400m^2 yard is still quite a privilege. tempted to tell him that perhaps he should go live out in the country on a farm then, but i THINK that may cause me to get beaten. *coughcough* yes so i shall be a nice sympathetic sister =D after all, he only very recently learnt how to cycle and still relishes cycling -pointless- circles around in the back)
back to work.
it does seem quite unreal that exams are in 21 days! what. on. earth.
in my dreams i'm still rocking on a gondola in venice... <3
