if anyone were to ask me why i treasured your friendship, i would tell them:

because you taught me about life

because you inspired me to follow Christ again when i was falling away

because you were there to simply listen, when i needed it most

because you guided me through problems big and small, never complaining

because you showed me that every single person is special, and taught me acceptance of those so very different from myself

because you made yourself vulnerable by forgiving me over and over again for my mistakes, even though i never deserved it

because you tried to understand me, where so many others gave up

because you taught me the joy of sacrifice and giving

because you weren't afraid to critisize, but never judged

because you embraced me for who i was, allowing me to be myself completely

because you are a true friend.
