if only it was cold and snowing, it would be the perfect christmas. but drats, it's summer T_T
ah well, it still feels rather christmas-y, and really quite lovely here at home XD
the christmas tree is quite happy, sitting over brightly and joyfully wrapped presents, and it is quite heartwarmingly dressed in decorations that i've known and hung up for countless years. this year is the first year i got to put the angel on top of the tree though =D since i'm now officially the tallest in the family, hahahahaha
quite excited about opening presents! i actually know what i'm getting (from my parents) and i want to open it. NOW. T_T hahahahahaha

but at the same time, there's the knowledge that christmas isn't all about presents and food and fun and holidays. at it's true essence, it's a celebration of the greatest gift ever known to mankind, a gift out of complete, absolute, pure, unconditional and amazing love =]
to this day i can't even begin to comprehend His infinite love... but i continue to strive to become a better person because of this love ^^
