a rainy day + discovery of an excess of brown wool + boredom + burst of energy =it is rather too brown for my liking. i can't remember the last time i did a whole square in one solid colour, but it turned out quite nicely - was envisioning something quite patterny and considering i was making it up as i went along, it's not too bad XD crocheting is such a time killer (in a wonderfully nice way, if you have the time and you don't know what to do with it, hahahahaha)
don't know what i'm going to do with it. i could give it to the school, but it'd just be really weird + out of place in another blanket, yes no? which means hmm.. maybe i could crochet another 6 more and extend my blanket by a panel, LOL. no... NO, elaine, NO you are not going to do that. sigh (first sign of madness: talking to oneself T_T)

and anyway, it's amazing what a little photo editing can do.
this was the original, taken in normal auto mode without flash:
this was after about 3 seconds of editing =D really, quite amazing XD
guess where =D winner receives a mystery prize ^^
