and nothing can happen that could possibly destroy my absolutely buoyant emotions right now, nope, not at this moment, definitely not. it feels so wonderful, and it's even more wonderful that i'm so happy about such small things in life.

when the going gets tough, i think i always want to remember this first day, and remember why school is awesome - it always has the potential to be, it's just a matter of perspective and readjusting the focus... often it's the most mundane scenes of daily life, which mostly go unnoticed, that suddenly become the most beautiful photographs, and all it takes is another way of looking at things =]

i love my new timetable, and i have all my old teachers! feel slightly bad for those whose classes got switched around, while overwhelmingly thankful that nothing much has changed. for the first time, it feels like going back to school where i'm so much a part of it, knowing all these people, all these teachers, and just easing back into the flow of things so seamlessly, so effortlessly... and perhaps it's a blessing to have something with which to compare this to, so as to be able to appreciate it this gift, which some people may overlook, all the more ^^

it really is an indescribable feeling of walking into school in the morning, on the way seeing all those year 11s in senior uniform (shocking. still not used to it T_T), and when i reach the quad to see all my lovely grade clustered around catching up, and to just be part of this awesome ruse family... yeah =]

mcfadyen hasn't lost his sarcastic streak over the holidays ^^ english lessons will never be dreary with him teaching, what with all those caustic comments he drops XD i say, he really has perfected the art over what... 30+ years of teaching? he can be so scathing and it's only 2 sentences later that you notice and you just go. genius.

iverach's weird sense of humour makes us groan sometimes, i admit. and it's just h.i.l.a.r.i.o.u.s. how he starts laughing at his own jokes/starts laughing halfway through when he's trying to be funny and interesting and it just. fails. but then we laugh at him, so in a way you could say he succeeded in being funny? i don't know. XD

briggs is as AWESOME as ever. LOVE HER TO BITS!!! =D i mean, seriously, if it wasn't for her i'd have dropped 3u maths by now XD after revising stuff briefly and teaching us a bit more new stuff, she went "so, it's the first day. do you reckon i should give you all homework?"
"NOOOOOOO! miss, it's the FIRST DAY T_T"
"but you guys are in YEAR TWELVE. *winks*"
"please miss, you can give us more work for tomorrow T_T let us have today off, please???"
"hmm.. so what do i get out of it? how about, if you all beg and grovel hard enough and let me get a good laugh out of it, i'll let you all off? *evil smile*"

i'm glad to have so much fun on the first day of school. really really glad =]
