sometimes it's just better to keep quiet. keep quiet, and maintain one's composure.
amusing, that not too long ago i read in a book,
"It was not by making yourself heard but by staying sane that you carried on the human heritage."the aftermath of comparative religion has finally started to die down. or should i be optimistic and say, the aftermath of comparative religion is
already starting to die down?
it was a long night of disbelief seeing the extent of the "damage": the acidic blog posts and the mocking comments, the anger was beyond what i could've imagined. friends suddenly hostile, hurt, and there i was at a total loss, worried and torn between the two worlds. i guess it was the expectations, and i should've been more mentally prepared for the reaction. *shrug*
two things changed everything. or rather, two things that really are one thing. an email from someone who understood, and conversation and prayer with another, both a million times more mature than me. so that by the next day, although nothing much had changed, everything had changed.
this isn't really supposed to make sense to anyone else than me.
but it's amazing that God is always in control of everything, and He turns the worst situations into the best possible situations - and then you realise that it was His plan all along, and you hit yourself for being so very stupid.
and so i continue to learn, love, grow. =]
