to this day i can't get over how different i sound in my head and how i actually sound to other people.
it's rather mortifying to listen to my own voice, for inexplicable reasons. possibly because i never realised i said, "umm" quite so much o.O"
currently i'm wondering why i bothered, and my excuse is procrastination, as always *shrug*

but it got me thinking about how we perceive ourselves and how others perceive us.
like, when you look into a mirror, are you seeing what others see when they look at you? and does a camera actually capture your true looks, or is it another form of distortion?

is there even anything absolute anymore? (apart from the existence + goodness of God and everything to do with Him... come to think of it, that's a lot of things. meh.)
