to start off, it was completely unplanned, until today.
got to school and jan went, "elaine, we're going to epping steamboat buffet for a belated celebration of your bday and ned's bday!"
and i was like... what?!

i am very proud of all of us actually XD we managed to get it all organised within 20 or so minutes and figure out that eddie would go home (she lives really near the school) to get money to pay for all of us and we would pay her back and transport and numbers and getting ned's mum to phone and book the place for us.
we are so very efficient =D

andand it's just meant to be that all of us miraculously were all free this wednesday arvo XP

anyway, there was half of us XP
and there was ned! =D (and cath and derek behind her. hahahaha! they are so cute - derek was the only guy who came along, cause of cath, which is uber sweet XD)
contrary to appearances, ned is really good at using chopsticks. like, amazingly good. like, better than me good, which is really quite saddening. and she doesn't usually use chopsticks at home either!
there were lots of funny highlights. like when we discovered that some rice noodle which was trailed over the rim of the... saucepan? had charred completely, and me and jan just broke down into hysterical laughter for no particular reason XP

and then jan grabbed a piece of the charred noodle and did this. and everyone at our table started laughing and ppl in the restaurant started looking at us weirdly and eddie's just like, "i don't know you guys. go away T_T" (nah, she didn't actually say that. but it totally fits with the vibe of the photo *cough*)
ooh and then there was the baby octopus double dare. it is baby octopus right? i wouldn't know T_T but yes, jan dared tiff to eat it with her, and so they did. it looks really bad in this photo *shudders*. which is the point, i guess.
and here's tiff freaking out. we're all very nice friends, we were laughing at her and teasing her endlessly *cough*and 2 hours later we got rather traumatised by what our stock had turned into, promptly lost our appetites and left XD
then lil and eddie came over! XP 'twas very nice, to just talk and laugh about random things and be bombarded with cadet stories ^^ i wish i could've joined cadets. urgh, saddening ><"

so that was my day, another really lovely one ^^ and it was even prettier this morning with even more frost, but i was running late so couldn't stop and take photos. apparently it's going to be even colder tomorrow, urgh T_T but meh, it's pretty ^^

life is so good it really doesn't feel like year 12, at all. except for the looming trials, of course T_T we got our timetables today and i really don't like it. i DETEST the fact that i have to come to school because of stupid australian maths comp which the school has made compulsory when i could've had a 5 day weekend. FIVE DAY weekend. sadness =(

and it's really quite horrid to have both english papers one after another. english is really quite lovely, after all, i wouldn't be able to blog or communicate much without it, but high school english is just horrifying. seriously.

*shrug*

maths awaits. i am so put off by maths these days. even having briggs as a teacher does not even begin to atone having to do maths homework. T_T and that's saying something XP

but i guess it's having things like maths homework that make me appreciate maths-free hours (such as steamboating! <3) all the more, hahahahahahaha XD
