there's only us
- Monday, September 20, 2010 -
junior day, and final assembly, rolled into one.
i must say, it does do something unique psychologically, because in junior uniform suddenly one feels so young and vulnerable and uncertain and dependent... but at the same time the skies were blue :) and so it seemed like we were
young once again, happy and carefree and innocent and naive and just so... joyful ^^

inevitably, there were the cross-dressers, LOL XD

final assembly was... just. amazing. emotions were running so high, and even then it didn't really sink in that this was it. but dispersing (or rather, converging) outside afterwards, suddenly it seemed to just hit everyone... and there was this amazing atmosphere that was charged with... love. no other word for it. it's unbelievable what people say and do when they realise that there's nothing left to lose.

i don't think we've all been so happy and carefree for a long, long time. well, at least i haven't. i'll miss frances so, so much though :( was talking to her today, and we realised that after ruse, it's unlikely our paths will ever cross much again, and it was simply heartbreaking... she's one of the nicest, lovliest, kindest, selfless, and most innocently naive person filled with good intentions that i know *wistful smile*

and it was hugs all round. even on my birthday, i don't think i got to hug as many people. XD there were the funny hugs...

and the heartbreakingly sweet ones, even more so that it's because it's "merely" a platonic friendship XP

ruse 2010 will forever be a shining star in the backdrop of my life :)

and really, i'll always remember the joy, the laughter, the fun; how we've stuck together through thick and thin, holding on to each other, supporting one another, walking through these past two years hand in hand, with love :)

and so even though the sun might be setting, this love lives on. in this moment, it's only us, for always, and always.
