honestly, i really have to hand it to the 10/11 prefects. they are undeniably epic. so, so epic.
i cannot get over the fact that they organised a harry potter week and went so far as to paint banners and to promote house spirit by introducing the revamped houses of slythervey, raventoft, griffinsack and hufflejones XD hahahahahahaha :D AND I AM JEALOUS OF THE FACT THAT TEACHERS GET HOUSE POINT COUPONS TO GIVE OUT. how cool is that? oooh and toft is pwning all the other houses, because we're awesome :D (although come to think of it, maybe it's because after the departure of the year 12s, the detrimental influence of our presence has been removed and that's why it's become such an awesome house... *cough*) there's honeydukes (canteen), gringotts (accounts office), potions (science block) and i forgot what C block was. arithmancy? XD and there's this rather epic display of a "firebolt" in the library. it's just... so much effort, but so, so, so cool XDthere's even a hypothetical "chamber of secrets". why, oh why did i have to graduate this year? :( and of course, there's quidditch! what's harry potter without quidditch? XDit was actually really similar to netball, except with dodgeballs being thrown around as bludgers.and it was hilarious when they released the "snitch" towards the end of the game; where a guy with a tag attached ran around everywhere (even down to the farm, LOL) and the two seekers had to run after him - person to catch the snitch ended the game and gained 50 points. the catch: the poor seekers had to run with "brooms" between their legs, hahahaha XD (guy in black in photo below is one of the seekers - he was boredly waiting for the snitch to be released XD)i really do miss ruse. a lot. but i know that however bright and happy life has been, it will surely only get better with God.perhaps not literally, from a worldly perspective... but even if life gets a lot harder, it will still be better - in that i have complete faith :)


in other news, popped by to koorong with lil today for the last day of their 20% sale and bought more things than i planned to *cough*

originally was only going to get future grace since it's a book i've been wanting for quite a while (eventually i want to collect all john piper's books, possibly over my entire lifetime, hahahaha - next on the list is the pleasures of god XD) but lil was such a bad influence and the more time i spent there the more i wanted to get. lol.
so yay now i have a new ESV bible which is less than half the size of my current bible, and it's a lot lighter and more compact and it's really pretty :D *cough* and managed to find this really interesting book arguing the traditional view of God's complete control and sovereignty that was on clearance and so only cost $2.40! ^^ and there was the best of passion compilation on sale as well - 2 CDs, 30 tracks, for only $8 ^^ (i was rather o.O cause it is passion after all so normally it can be quite expensive!)

and i guess that's another glimpse of post-HSC life XD off to towers tomorrow for formal shopping - I NEED A DRESS, STILL. :(
