unearthing the past
- Thursday, February 3, 2011 -
spent almost a full five hours today sorting through every single shelf and drawer and folder i have, reorganising and eliminating all the bits and pieces i've accumulated (or rather, hoarded) over the years XD
i was pleasantly surprised by a lot of stuff i forgot i even had - a lot of it very pretty haberdashery that i've hoarded for ages ><" - and it was
really nice to rediscover things that i thought i had lost
but i also stumbled upon a few scribbled pages in an exercise book that shocked me. maybe it's an indication of how far i've come over the past two years, that i can no longer identify with that person who spilled sarcasm and vitriol across the pages. granted, it was a personal "diary", but the hatred and rawness of emotions seems so out of proportion and ridiculous in retrospect. though, it is consoling to know that i have proved myself wrong of what i was so convinced of back then - time does indeed erase all hurt and pain.
i've been so lazy with updating these days - there's so much going on but more and more blogging seems like a waste of time. blogging for the purpose of future reminiscence now seems pointless (since rereading my blog posts really
is a total waste of time), and so i guess this blog is once again reverting to an outlet of my really random ramblings, when i need it. XD
