head over heels in love
- Saturday, April 16, 2011 -

kikki k has launched their winter landskap collection and it is taking every ounce of self control not to spend an entire month's pay (or more) on everything that's on offer. there's just so much delicious eye candy *wistful smile*

i simply cannot get over how incredibly cute and pretty everything is. it was the pencil case which first caught my eye, but $30 for a pencil case just seems to be a bit exorbitant. just the
tiniest bit.
and the notebooks! oh how much i want one of these for my very own...

not to mention the
cutest stamp set ever and magnetic pegs which are so heartbreakingly sweet. (hmm, maybe there's something slightly wrong with me if i find
pegs, of all things,
heartbreakingly sweet. maybe it's heartbreaking because they'll probably never be mine XD)

it's amusing how these days i think of the price of everything in terms of how long i have to work to earn that amount of money, and to judge the worth of things by that standard. and i can't help feeling that an hour (or two, or three, or four) of work to be able to buy
something in this collection is so infinitely worthwhile.
this is hopeless. it will be a miracle if i manage to pull through and not spend a single cent, but i am already mentally figuring out which item i absolutely
have to have. (it definitely does not help things that there is a kikki k store just a mere 15 min walk from usyd.) wish me luck. maybe in a week or two there'll be a very happy blog post when a very happy me shows off her latest purchase. XD
(this blog post was so exceptionally random. my blog posts these days are always the product of horrendously long periods of procrastination - which
really isn't a good idea considering i have four assignments due in the next week. and i have 3/4, 1500 words more, of an assignment more to go. T_T)
