i could be happy with you
- Saturday, June 4, 2011 -
The boyfriend was an absolute ball and I loved every single minute of it. Most of all, it was just so good to
be back. I'd completely and utterly forgotten just how crazy a bunch we all were, and I didn't realise how much I missed everything and everyone ruse until I was actually there again. From trolling Briggs to Connors entering a conversation at a very inopportune moment - I don't think I've laughed quite so much in a long time.
Introduce Frank, a NSB boy who's doing med at UNSW. Factor Eddie and her absolutely crazy schemes into the picture (which I've missed so so dearly) and you get the following:
[A crowd of giggling girls surrounding Frank approaches Mrs Briggs, who notices the entourage and whose initial delight changes immediately into wariness]
Frank: Hi Mrs Briggs!
Briggs: Hi... ...
Frank: I'm Frank! You know, from 7L?
Briggs: THAT IS NOT A REAL NAME. YOU ARE PULLING MY LEG.
Frank: No, I'm serious, that is my name! I'll show you my driver's license!
Briggs: I don't believe you.
Frank: Fine.
[Frank pulls out his driver's license and hands it to Mrs Briggs. Mrs Briggs is chagrined.]
Briggs: I'm sorry... I don't usually forget people... So who did you sit next to?
[Frank is at a loss but Eddie immediately hisses "Simon" rather...
inconspicuously]
Frank: Simon!
Briggs: Simon...? OH,
that Simon. I remember now! AHHHHH I REMEMBER YOU NOW. You were that really chatty naughty boy who sat in the front row.
[At this point we all dissolve into uncontrollable laughter and the game is up. Mrs Briggs is utterly and thoroughly embarrassed, but we all reassure her that we love her =D]
After the musical, we were discussing the logistics of the sleepover at Eddie's house -
Me: So, Eddie, how is everyone going to fit at your house?
Eddie: I dunno, we can all sleep on top of each other!
[At this point, Mrs Connors was just walking by and had overheard Eddie's comment]
Mrs Connors: Yes, and you will all be very warm indeed.
[Mrs Connors walks off, glancing back with a huge grin on her face. Eddie dies of embarrassment]
And so it was a thoroughly a-wee-some and EPIL night. :)
